Have just spent a week at Can Magrana . A beautifully renovated Finca, situated in authentic rural Spanish orange groves, with a stunning garden lovingly tended by Ros. Ros Linssner is an attentive and welcoming host, but equally giving you privacy and time alone by the pool if you so wish. The self contained apartment upstairs has its own private entrance - you have your own keys so you can come & go without fear of disturbing your hosts. We opted for the Breakfast included option which was a very beautifully prepared and generous Continental selection of fresh breads, pastries, home-made jams and cold meats with fresh juices and tea or coffee. Chica, the GSD, is a friendly playful dog but without being pushy. She is very sweet and also a very reassuring sounding guard dog! ;-) If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, rural retreat, with local towns and restaurants about 10-15 minutes drive and beaches within half an hour drive, (you WILL need your own car), then I have no hesitation in recommending Can Magrana.

Well where do we start. This place is out of this world. Communication with Ros was excellent, even when we were half way down the road leaving and had a phone call to say we'd left our swimmers on the balcony. We recieved an email containing crucial directions as this place is off the beaten track and situated in the most idyllic surroundings. The apartment is immaculate and everything had been thought of - down to minature sewing kits for those emergency moments . The air con is bliss after spending a day lounging around the beautiful pool amongst the fruit trees. And there's everything you need for self catering, we used their outside BBQ and ate a feast poolside- which is gorgeous in the late evening whilst the sun is setting. Ros also supplied us with a full and delicious continental breakfast by the pool, with homemade jams and curds made from the fruit from the garden. Thank you for a beautiful couple of days. You really have a gem of a place. Lucy, Jordan and Darwin (July 2016)
